Our story
A young sanyasi’s vision
to unite a community.
Akhila Bharata Madhwa Maha Mandala was founded in 1953 by Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Sri Pejawar Mutt to unite the Madhwa community and drive social change. It faced early scepticism; some saw it as a bid for publicity by a young monk. It endured, sustained by Madhwa philosophy and devotion to Sri Krishna.
